1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text strings that a website or third-party service may store in your browser. Technologies such as local storage, session storage and technical identifiers can perform similar functions. Some tools are essential for security and operation; others require consent when used for non-exempt analytics, profiling or advertising.
2. Tools used by LPWEB
As of the last update, the initial responses from the home and contact pages do not set first-party cookies. The website does not integrate Google Analytics, advertising pixels, profiling systems or other marketing tools. Usage statistics are collected with Umami, which sets no cookies and writes nothing to your browser.
| Service | Tool | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cloudflare Turnstile | Technical signals and identifiers used by the Challenge Platform; technical cookies prefixed with cf_chl_* may be present. The cf_clearance cookie is used only when Cloudflare’s optional pre-clearance feature is enabled. | Protecting the contact form against bots, spam and abuse. | Limited to the verification or security session; any cf_clearance cookie follows the duration configured through Cloudflare. |
| Umami (analytics.lpweb.cloud) | No cookies and no data stored in your browser. Visits are counted server-side, using a session identifier hashed with a key that rotates daily. | Aggregated statistics on pages viewed, to understand which content is useful. | No browser-side duration: no identifier is stored on your device. |
Umami runs on the controller’s own infrastructure: browsing data is not shared with third-party analytics providers. IP address and user agent are used in transit only, to derive country and session identifier, and are not retained. Details are in the privacy policy.
Turnstile may process IP address, user agent, TLS characteristics, site key and request origin. These signals are used for security and are not used by LPWEB for profiling or advertising. Further information is available in the Turnstile Privacy Addendum.
3. Legal basis and consent
Turnstile’s tools are strictly necessary for the security and operation of the form. Umami neither stores nor reads information on your device, so it falls outside the scope of Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive: the processing relies on the controller’s legitimate interest in measuring website usage in aggregate, without profiling. No prior consent is therefore requested and no cookie banner is displayed. If non-technical tools are introduced in the future, they will be blocked until the user makes a choice and this policy will be updated.
4. Browser controls
You can delete or block cookies through your browser settings. Blocking Turnstile’s technical tools may prevent completion of the bot check and, consequently, submission of the contact form.
